What does this app do?

Pilot Scheduled Discounts lets you set up automatic order-level discounts that apply only on specific days of the week, during specific hours, or only for B2B (company) buyers. All evaluation happens inside a Shopify Function at checkout time — there is no cron job rewriting prices.

How do multiple rules combine?

A single Scheduled Discount holds a list of rules. At checkout, the App evaluates every enabled rule against the current cart, and the rule producing the highest discount amount wins. There is no stacking between rules within the App.

What time zone is used?

The shop's local time, exactly as Shopify reports it to the Function. If your store is set to America/New_York, "18:00–20:00" means 6 PM to 8 PM in New York.

Time precision?

Rules match at hour granularity. A rule with start 18:30 activates at 18:00; a rule with end 23:59 matches the entire 23rd hour. Use whole hours for predictable behaviour.

How do I configure "night-time"?

Set the time window with start later than end — e.g. 22:00 – 06:00. The window automatically wraps past midnight.

Does the B2B rule work on a regular store?

No. The B2B condition only matches when the cart buyer is a company, which requires a Shopify Plus B2B store. On a non-B2B store the condition is silently false and the rule never triggers.

Can it stack with manual discount codes?

That is controlled by the standard Shopify "Combinations" setting on the discount. By default the App is created with combinations disabled. You can change this in the native Shopify Discount editor.

Does it support product or shipping discounts?

Not in the current release. Only order-level percentage and fixed-amount discounts are supported. Product- and shipping-level support is on the roadmap.

How are percentage discounts calculated?

The percentage is applied to the cart subtotal as reported by Shopify. Whichever rule produces the largest absolute discount on that subtotal wins.

How do I uninstall?

From your Shopify admin → Apps → Pilot Scheduled Discounts → Uninstall. All session data is removed immediately, and Shopify sends a final redact webhook 48 hours later.
